Where does the wool come from?

I use 100% domestic Finnish wool, which I source directly from local farms. The wool is fully traceable and comes from shepherds who take excellent care of their animals responsibly. This allows me to personally guarantee both the premium quality and the ethical standards of the material.

Why Finnish wool?

Finnish wool (Finnsheep wool) is a warm, breathable, and highly durable natural material that is perfectly adapted to northern climates. It is a truly ecological choice—wool is renewable, biodegradable, and produced locally without long, carbon-heavy transport chains.

How are the products made?

I craft every single product by hand, one at a time. I work at a calm, deliberate pace to ensure that each beanie, scarf, and accessory is meticulously finished and built to last for years. This traditional craftsmanship makes every item completely unique.

How long does shipping take?

• In-stock items: Shipped within 2–4 business days.

• Made-to-order items: Crafted and ready to ship within 1–3 weeks, depending on the current order volume and design complexity.

Can I order a product with custom measurements or specific requests?

Yes, absolutely! I am happy to accommodate minor customizations. For instance, you can request a custom length for a scarf or a slightly looser fit for a beanie. Please feel free to contact me, and we will find the perfect solution together.

How should I care for my wool products?

Wool is naturally dirt-resistant and low-maintenance; most of the time, simply airing it out is enough. To keep your knitwear soft and in shape for years, I recommend:

• Airing the garment out after use.

• Hand washing in cool water only when necessary.

• Using a dedicated wool detergent.

• Drying flat (do not hang or wring).

Can I return a product?

Yes. You have a 14-day return policy, provided the item is unused and in its original condition. Please note that custom-made or personalized products cannot be returned unless they are defective.

Where can I see the products in person?

I regularly participate in design markets and seasonal events, which I always announce on Instagram and in the "News" section of this website. You are warmly welcome to come say hello and feel the wool in person! My accessories are also permanently available at the local farm shop Maatilapuoti in Kirkkonummi, Finland.

Can I buy a Hanna’s Handmade accessory as a gift?
