Today I’ve done something I’ve dreamed of for a long time: opened Hanna’s Handmade to customers across Europe. This wasn’t a quick project, but a long, calm and sometimes very slow process that followed me through quiet evenings and my summer holiday.
This truly wasn’t a fast task – but a slow, steady effort during evenings and holiday moments, where I translated my entire Finnish‑language online store into English. Every menu, product description, instruction and detail has been carefully reviewed.
The world of handmade accessories is close to my heart, and I wanted to make sure that the same feeling carries through in English. That a European customer understands what Finnish wool is. Why every scarf, beanie and pair of fingerless gloves is unique. Why slow-made is beautiful.
Now the store is open – customers can choose English and shop from anywhere in Europe. It feels like a big step for a small artisan business, but at the same time completely right. This has been requested, and I’m so happy it’s finally possible.
I hope this work will be rewarded. That European customers will find their way to Hanna’s Handmade. That those who love timeless, handcrafted accessories will find the scarf, beanie or pair of fingerless gloves that brings warmth and joy into their everyday life.
This has been a huge effort – but also incredibly inspiring. And now I can finally say: Hanna’s Handmade is open to all of Europe.
