I started making crafts when I was just three years old. I remember sitting next to my grandmother, watching the knitting needles click rapidly in her hands. Eventually, I was given a tiny pair of needles of my own, and from that exact moment, creating with my hands became a part of who I am. Sitting by my grandmother's side, I didn’t just learn my first stitches—I learned something much greater: the peace, the rhythm, and the unique feeling of creating something beautiful and lasting out of raw materials.
Over the years, my skills grew. As an adult, I realized I was creating far more than my friends and family could ever wear. I started visiting local craft fairs, selling colorful wool socks at first. It was both thrilling and deeply rewarding to see that someone truly wanted to buy and cherish something I had made with my own two hands.
Then, I discovered domestic Finnish wool. It was love at first touch. The material felt incredibly right: natural, breathable, warm, and honest. I began knitting and weaving more and more with Finnsheep wool, and step by step, the local markets turned into larger events. Eventually, it was time to build an online shop.
For me, crafting is the perfect counterweight to my daily job. It calms me, grounds me, and brings room to breathe into the everyday rush. It is immensely rewarding to create an accessory that finds its rightful home—with someone who truly appreciates authentic materials, Finnish craftsmanship, and the beauty of slow design.
Now, my new online shop is officially open. I truly hope that people who value natural materials and authentic Finnish craftsmanship will find their way here.
Welcome to explore my world. I am so glad you are here.
